Beverly Jannene Wulfekuhl

Beverly Jannene (Kovar) Wulfekuhl was born Aug 12th, 1939, in the home of her parents, Raymond and Leone Kovar, in David City Nebraska. In January the family moved from David City to Crete, Nebraska. Beverly graduated from Crete High School in 1957. Shortly after graduating, she met a young airman, Keith J. Wulfekuhl. Beverly and Keith married on April 19th, 1958. They moved to Lincoln where Keith was stationed with the United States AirForce. While stationed in Lincoln, Beverly gave birth to two boys Bradley S. Wulfekuhl, on February 2nd, 1959, and Gregory K. Wulfekuhl, on July 19th, 1960. In 1961 Keith was transferred to England. Beverly gave birth to her third son, Douglas R. Wulfekuhl, on July 5th, 1963. After Keith's assignment was complete in England the family was transferred to Oklahoma. Four years later Keith was transferred to Bellevue, Nebraska where the family would reside until 1977 when the family was transferred to Hawaii. Beverly spent four years in Hawaii when Keith retired after 28 years in the AirForce. Beverly and Keith moved back to Omaha where they would live out their lives. Beverly's three sons are all married. Brad and Alice live in Whittier, California. Greg and Darcy live in Valley, Nebraska. They have three children Ryan Wulfekuhl, Ryan has one daughter, Charlotte (6). Crystal (Wulfekuhl) McMurray is married to Ryan McMurray, and they have two children, Brady (8) and Sloan (6). Colton Wulfekuhl is married to McKenna. Doug and Sue live in Omaha, Nebraska, and they have two children, Cody and Kayla. Kayla is engaged to Joshua. After returning to Omaha Beverly worked for ServiceMaster for more than 20 years. She was a card player and loved playing Rummy, Pinochle, and Bunco. Beverly and Keith enjoyed dancing. They could do the two-step and danced a mean Polka. They also liked going to the casino. Beverly liked to bowl, she and Keith bowled in leagues for years. After Keith passed away, Beverly would go with Darcy and watch her bowl, Beverly loved to be out on the town, enjoying a VO and diet. Beverly always had a joke to tell you, no matter how bad it was. Beverly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she always smiled when they would come to visit or talk to her on the phone.
