Cole Alexander French

Cole Alexander French was born November 10,1983 in Omaha, NE. The son of Brenda (Duncan) Beasley. Cole moved to Burnsville, Minnesota at age 4 and attended elementary and middle school there. He loved growing up there. He was active in sports playing soccer (playing in the USA Cup in Blaine, MN) and basketball. This is where his love of sports began; he supported the Twins, the Timberwolves and became a loyal Vikings fan (and eventually the Huskers as well) Returning to Omaha, he graduated from Millard West High School. Cole then graduated with honors with a BS in Human Services from Bellevue University. He worked at Omaha Home for Boys as an Independent Living Coordinator helping youth in their journey to become responsible and independent young adults. Cole met his future wife Angie when they were teenagers working at Pizza Hut together. They were a perfect match for each other and married in 2010. Their dreams came true last year when they welcomed their baby boy Carter into the world. Cole was a very active person who loved pushing himself to be as strong and healthy as possible even against all odds. Cole has a troop of incredible friends through the years; they have been faithful through the joys and troubles of life. Cole was always known for his infectious smile and his loving, kind character. The words he lived by were â€œLive Life, don't let life live youâ€. Cole was first diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma in 2011. He conquered it and went into full remission later that year. Cancer returned in 2013 and he fought again like a champion. Cole was released into the arms of Jesus peacefully and surrounded by family and friends. His Grandfather was waiting to welcome him. Cole was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Billy Duncan. He is survived by his devoted wife Angie; his son Carter; his mother Brenda; his brother Nathan; Grandmother Patricia Duncan; his Uncle Dan Duncan of Denver, Co; Aunts: Teresa Bray of Ashland, NE; Sharon Goodman of Jackson, MI; Cousins: Cody Bray, Austin Bray, Conner Bray, Jason Childers, Jackie Goodman; Nieces and Nephews: Caily Yard, Lexi Bray, Kennedy Childers. French, Cole A. November 10, 1983- July 8, 2014 Preceded in death by grandfather Billy Duncan. Survived by wife Angie, son Carter, mother Brenda Beasley and brother Nathan Beasley. Visitation Friday July 11, 2014 from 5-8 PM at Reichmuth Funeral Homes 21901 West Maple Road. Funeral service Saturday July 12, 2014 at 10 AM at Community Covenant Church 15770 Q St. Interment Prospect Hill Cemetery, Elkhorn.
