Kristin L Schultz

Kristin Lucy Otto Schultz was born on March 7, 1971 in Marshall, Minnesota to Raymond and Alice (Zinniel) Otto. She grew up in Marshall where she attended grade school and graduated from Marshall High School in 1988. Kristin went on to graduate from St. Cloud University in 1992. As a young girl, she enjoyed arts and crafts, pottery, stained glass, snow skiing, gardening and camping. Kristin married Kerry Schultz on April 22, 2003 in Helena, Montana and they have been blessed with two children: Lauren and Logan. Kristin and Kerry have made their home in Helena, Montana before settling in Elkhorn, Nebraska. Kristin worked as a teacher’s assistant in the Elkhorn School system but her life was dedicated to her children. She continued to camp and garden up until recently when her health would not allow her to enjoy these activities. Kristin took great pride in being a wonderful wife and mother. She was a tremendously patient and thoughtful woman. Kristin passed away in her home in Elkhorn, Nebraska with her family at her side at the age of 41 years, 4 months and 8 days. She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Alice and brother Paul. Kristin is survived by her husband Kerry; daughter Lauren and son Logan all of Elkhorn; stepsons Seth (Amy) of Omaha and Jacob of Woonsocket, RI; brothers Bill Otto of Marshall, MN, Greg (Wendy) Otto of Grandforks, ND, Ray Otto of Sioux Falls, SD and Pat (Tammie) Otto of Louisa, VA; sisters Barb Otto of Stillwater, MN, Mary Woodward (Noel Blais) of St. Cloud, MN and Sue (Neal) Sieverson of Lake Elmo, MN; mother-in-law Jean Schultz of Elkhorn; Schultz, Kristin age 41 years of Elkhorn, NE. Survived by her husband Kerry; daughter Lauren and son Logan all of Elkhorn; stepsons Seth (Amy) of Omaha and Jacob of Woonsocket, RI; brothers Bill Otto of Marshall, MN, Greg (Wendy) Otto of Grandforks, ND, Ray Otto of Sioux Falls, SD and Pat (Tammie) Otto of Louisa, VA; sisters Barb Otto of Stillwater, MN, Mary Woodward (Noel Blais) of St. Cloud, MN and Sue (Neal) Sieverson of Lake Elmo, MN; mother-in-law Jean Schultz of Elkhorn; Visitation Thursday noon to 8 pm with family receiving friends from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
