Tina Marie Dormady

Tina Marie (Hillebran) Dormady was born on October 27, 1967 in Omaha, Nebraska to Walter and Dorothy (VanWinkle) Hillebran. She grew up in Elkhorn, graduating from Elkhorn High School in 1986. She attended Grace Bible College, taking classes in computer science. Growing up, she enjoyed fishing and camping and participated in 4H. Tina spent time living in Texas and New Orleans, where her daughter Victoria was born, before moving back to Elkhorn. She married William Dormady on April 9, 1994. Tina, along with her whole family, was so excited at the birth of Victoria, and then again years later when Alexis, the miracle baby, was born. Camping and fishing continued to be activities Tina loved throughout her life. She also continued her interest in 4H by taking her kids to the State Fair every year. Tina was very creative and enjoyed crafting, she was very good at ceramics. She loved shopping and often went to Kansas to their old market. She also liked to travel to see her sister, Joyce, in Colorado. She was an animal lover, and her dogs, cats and chickens were all important to her. Most of all, Tina loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed going out with them whether it was for shopping or going out to eat. Tina’s friends and family will remember her outgoing personality, love of talking to people, and her sense of humor. They will also remember her caring and loving nature, her acceptance towards others, as well as her generosity and insightfulness. She will be very missed. Tina was preceded in death by her father, Walter W. Hillebran and brother, Walter A. Hillebran. She is survived by her partners, William Dormady and Henry Ruff Jr.; children: Victoria Garrett, Alexis Dormady, Tesla Oliva, Kristina Greenfield, Tim Ruff, Lindsey (Ben) Ruff Dingwell, Amy Ruff, and Jon Ruff; grandchildren: Skylar Hillebran Garrett, Taliah Almeida, Conner Merrick, Zannah Garrett, Aydden Garrett, Khylie Zeschmann, and Menry Dingwell; mother, Dorothy Hillebran; siblings: Robert (Christine) Hillebran, Phyllis (Doug) Rice, David (Jackie) Hillebran, and Joyce (Allen) Strong, sister-in-law, Mary Hillebran; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
