Tyler Mark Davis

Tyler Mark Davis was born on November 20th, 1989 to Jay and Kim Davis. Tyler entered this world full of life and zest. Tyler grew up alongside his brother, Logan. He spent his childhood outdoors and carried that through his adulthood. Tyler grew up playing football and baseball. He graduated from Millard West High School, where he met the love of his life, Lindsey. After graduating high school, Tyler went on to play football at Doane. Tyler excelled academically and graduated Doane with a degree in Business Management with a minor in Environmental Science and Spanish. Tyler loved finding any reason to utilize his Spanish speaking skills, especially with the locals while traveling. On October 22nd, 2016, Tyler and Lindsey married in Dominican Republic. Together, they built a beautiful family consisting of Tristan, Turner and Talia. Tyler loved his family fiercely, they were constantly at the forefront of everything he did. Tyler lived life with immense passion, adventure and making friends everywhere he went. Tyler thrived as his interests became those of his kids. He spent his days hunting, fishing, and anything that involved the outdoors with his kids. Tyler was allergic to the cold and hated mornings which ironically was the cornerstone of hunting. Coming from a line of Bills fans, Tyler was born a diehard Bills fan which became a tradition he passed on to his children. Tyler was a loyal and devoted friend. He was the friend you could call at any hour and he would be there for you. Tyler was there for so many people in their darkest days and he will be deeply missed. On November 21, 2023, Tyler tragically left this earth out in nature doing what he loved, hunting. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Papa, Richard "Dick" Gazda and Nana, Elizabeth "Betty" Gazda along with his beloved dogs, Bear and Boomer. He is survived by his loving wife, Lindsey Davis; children, Tristan, Turner, and Talia Davis; mother, Kim Davis (Tim Howard); father, Jay (Lisa) Davis; brother, Logan (Samantha) Davis; paternal grandparents, Donald and Lois Davis; and many extended family members and close friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Waters Edge Church, 19600 Harrison street, Gretna, Ne on Wednesday November 29th at 11:00am.
