Robert Wayne Westphal

November 23, 1958 - July 29, 2020

Robert Wayne Westphal was born November 23, 1958 in Omaha, Nebraska to Wayne E. and Geraldine (Cox) Westphal. Bob was a fun loving, energetic, compassionate man. He loved his family and cared about the people in his life. He loved to travel and had many talents. He was an amazing diver, and talented horticulturist. He always had beautiful flowers in his and his parent’s yards. Bob was a great dancer. He taught his younger cousins how to do the Hustle while playing one of Donna Summer’s hits. Bob loved sports, and was an avid Westside Warrior; always following the Warrior Football Program. He spent most of his working days at First Data. Bob often purchased lottery tickets hoping he would get lucky and win the Big One! Bob was a spiritual person and believed in God. He had a good heart, and good intentions. He will be greatly missed and always remembered by his mother, Geraldine Westphal of Elkhorn, sisters: Pam (David) Adolf of Elkhorn, and Sandra (Robert) Roggenbach of Kent, WA; his niece and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Westphal. Bob has found peace and he is in a better place. A private family burial will be held at Prospect Hill Cemetery of Elkhorn. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you perform a random act of kindness in Bob’s honor.
