Kirsten Anne Tabor

Kirsten Anne Tabor was born in Omaha, Nebraska on the 30th of January, 1993 and was taken away from us on the 30th of September, 2022. She was 29 years of age. Her arrival brought great joy and happiness to her parents, Steve Aurora and Jamie Timperley. Kirsten married Andrew Tabor on the 27th day of August, 2017. Andrew and Kirsten made a home in Kennard, Nebraska and were blessed with three beautiful children, Liam James, Noah Joseph, and Lily May. Her children were the sparkle in her eyes and the excitement in her heart that made it beat. They were always deeply loved by her and that love remains with each of them now and forever. Kirsten grew up in Bennington, Nebraska and attended Bennington Public Schools. It was in school that she made some of her best and lifelong friends, all of whom meant so much to her. She enjoyed sports and especially volleyball while in high school, and graduated in the Class of 2011. Kirsten was always a hard and energetic worker. She started work when she was 16 years old at the Cubby’s store in Bennington where she developed her unstoppable work ethic. She always turned work into a place to make more friends and enjoyed her coworkers and customers alike. She has worked at Nate’s Stumble Inn for the last 7 years. Nate, those who worked with her, and her many customers became an extended family to Kirsten that she cherished deeply. She was an active part of the community, becoming a member of the Bennington Chamber of Commerce Executive Board in 2022. Her caring for others was never as obvious as in her love for animals. She was always bringing home a new pet to fill their home with life and a little chaos. Kirsten enjoyed fishing, hiking and going to concerts. Kirsten is preceded in death by her grandparents Lawrence Aurora and Sharon Carlson. She is survived by her husband Andrew Tabor and their children: Liam, Noah, and Lily; mother, Jamie Timperley and Todd Mumma; father, Steve and Donna Aurora; grandparents: Rita Timperley, Roger Timperley, Ann Aurora, Kenneth Carlson, and Chuck and Karen Mumma; parents-in-law: Loretta and Andre Tabor; brothers-in-law: Aaron and Courtney Tabor, Jason and Sarah Tabor, Nick and Lindsey Tabor, and Trent and Christina Mumma; aunts and uncles: Frank and Sue Timperley, Kevin and Connie Aurora, Vicki and Jeff Lindley, and Colleen and Jay Jensen; many cousins, nieces and nephews; Nate Nieman, and her friends at Stumble Inn. Funeral service 10 AM Friday at Reichmuth Funeral Home, Elkhorn. Interment at Flower Hill Cemetery. Visitation 3-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home in Elkhorn. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
