Lynda Ann Crouch

Lynda Crouch was born on December 20, 1964, and lived a life defined by love, strength, and service to others. She was a devoted mother to her three children — Josh, Justin, and Katie — and a mom that anyone could only dream of having. Kind, loving, and endlessly supportive, she always had her children’s backs and loved them unconditionally. Lynda shared a beautiful marriage of 40 years with her husband, Jim Crouch, building a life filled with love, family, and countless cherished memories together. Their partnership was the foundation of their family and a true example of commitment and devotion. From a young age, Lynda showed dedication and leadership. In high school, she was a writer and editor for the school newspaper and consistently made the honor roll. Her academic achievements earned her scholarship offers, and she proudly accepted admission to Northwest Missouri State University. Between September 1990 and April 1991, during a time of great concern for families with loved ones serving in the military, Lynda took it upon herself to notify families in the area with troop updates and organize care packages to send overseas. Her compassion and willingness to help others reflected who she was at heart. Lynda was known as the neighborhood mom — always welcoming children into her home, caring for them like her own, and bringing everyone together. She hosted pay-per-view wrestling nights and was famous for her delicious nachos that became a favorite among all the kids. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and love. From 1995 to 2005, Lynda was deeply involved with EVW, leading fundraising efforts and running the concession stand. She was also the ultimate football mom, making sure every player was taken care of, encouraged, and supported. Professionally, Lynda dedicated over 20 years to Carlson Hospitality, where she worked in resource planning. After her time there, she continued to show the same passion and dedication while working for Blue Cross Blue Shield, leaving a positive impact on everyone she worked with. Lynda was passionate about giving back and volunteered in many charity runs throughout her years of running and walking. Even during her battle with liver cancer, she remained incredibly strong. During chemotherapy treatments, she walked a full marathon — a powerful testament to her courage and determination. Family meant everything to Lynda. She cherished fishing and camping trips with Jim, her children, and grandchildren. She was a proud grandmother to six grandkids and never missed a show, game, or school event. She continued showing up for them until just days before her passing. Lynda Crouch leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, resilience, and devotion. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, and a woman who made every person feel cared for.
